Akshay Pratishthan was set up as a unique "experiment" in inclusion and inclusive education. In 1998 what began as a small school in tents in Dakshinpuri has expanded to become a rehabilitation centre supporting more than 450 children. Apart from education, Akshay Pratishthan is well known for its vocational training, medical care and employment opportunities.

Akshay Pratishthan continues to grow under the able guidance of its chairperson Smt. Aruna Dalmia, with the continued support of the donors, sponsors, volunteers, children and their parents. Our dream of giving the disabled and backward sections of society a platform to prove themselves is coming true.
