Visit to the Railway museum

World Disability Day was celebrated by creating awareness about Disability. The theme was ‘United in action to rescue and achieve the SDGs, for ,with and by the persons with disabilities. It involved educating people about different types of disabilities, breaking stereotypes, promoting accessibility, and advocating the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities. Around 60 students of Akshya Pratisthan along with staff went for a walk and played Nukkad Natak in Sector B-10 and B-5/6, JJ Bandu camp, Vasant Kunj as well. The students interacted with everyone present there and disseminated information about the education landscape of Akshya Pratisthan which plays a prime role in inclusion.

Visit to the Zoo

Students from class I to class V visited the zoo. Students were excited to learn about various species of animals, their habitats, behaviors and conservation efforts. They were amazed to see the diverse range of endangered species like white tiger.

Visit to the War Memorial

Visiting the War Memorial in Delhi was a deeply moving and educational experience for the students of class VI, VII & class VIII. The students saw the various elements of it including the central obelisk, the eternal flame and the walls of remembrance, all which honor the soldiers’ sacrifices. They were excited to interact with the soldiers present there, which helped them to learn about gratitude, reflection and remembrance.
